How much does a call center agent earn per month in the Philippines?

Most call center agent posts offer between ₱20,000 and ₱25,000 a month. Of 50 live call center job posts we read on JobStreet on 25 September 2026, 36 (72%) stated a salary. The median posted range among those 36 was ₱20,000 to ₱25,000, and the median midpoint was ₱22,500.

How we read them: we took agent-level posts from JobStreet's "call center agent" search in listed order, plus the same search filtered to Cebu, Davao City, Iloilo, Pampanga and Bacolod, until we had 50. Every salary was a monthly figure. The lowest posted minimum was ₱15,000 and the highest posted maximum was ₱50,000. The top two ranges came from one BPO site in Alabang and a recruiter asking for 3 to 5 years of experience, so they do not describe a first job.

These are advertised offers. Several posts say the top of the range is a full package with allowances and incentives, which the section on basic pay below explains.

How do JobStreet and Indeed salary figures compare?

The two big job sites say about the same thing as the posts we read. JobStreet puts the average monthly salary for a Call Centre Operator at ₱22,000 to ₱25,000, refreshed on 1 September 2026. Indeed puts the average base salary for a call center representative at ₱21,097 a month, updated on 20 September 2026.

Each figure measures something slightly different. JobStreet says its numbers come from "full-time salary ranges disclosed by employers on Jobstreet job ads" and that some disclosed salaries include other benefits while others don't. It also has no page for "call center agent", so Call Centre Operator is the closest role it covers. Indeed's average is based on 15.4k salaries taken from job postings on Indeed over the past 36 months, so older, lower offers are still in it. That is one reason it sits a little below the posts we read on a single day.

Is the salary in a job post your basic pay?

Often it is not. Many posts show the most you could earn in a month, with allowances, incentives and night differential added on top of a lower basic salary. The difference matters, because 13th month pay and overtime are counted from your basic salary and regular wage.

Three posts in our sample spell out the split:

PostHeadline figureBasic pay statedWhat makes up the rest
Nezda Technologies, Davao₱24,550 package₱17,500₱2,000 de minimis, ₱5,050 other allowance, plus 10% night differential
Private AdvertiserUp to ₱34,000 total package₱21,000Allowances and incentives (not itemized)
ConnectUs, work from home₱22,000 to ₱25,000 total package₱15,000 guaranteedIncentives up to ₱7,000

Before you accept an offer, ask for your basic salary as a separate number. A ₱24,550 package with ₱17,500 basic and a ₱22,000 offer that is all basic are two very different jobs.

How much is the entry-level call center salary with no experience?

Posts that accept beginners pay about the same as the rest. In our sample, 20 posts both stated a salary and said openly that they welcome applicants with no experience. Their median range was ₱19,500 to ₱25,000, with a median midpoint of ₱22,625.

Indeed lists an average of ₱22,134 a month for an entry level call center representative. Posts that ask for experience were too few to compare on their own (under 5 per group), so we do not report a figure for them.

Job post requirements: no prior call centre or customer service experience required, comprehensive training provided, high school diploma or equivalent

If you are new, the pay is similar. What decides whether you get the offer is the interview and the English assessment, covered in the complete guide to becoming a call center agent.

How much does night differential add to a call center salary?

By law, every hour you work between 10 pm and 6 am earns at least 10% more than your regular hourly wage. Article 86 of the Labor Code says every employee "shall be paid a night shift differential of not less than ten percent (10%) of his regular wage for each hour of work performed between ten o'clock in the evening and six o'clock in the morning."

So the add-on depends on how many of your hours fall inside that window. If all your working hours for the day fall between 10 pm and 6 am, the minimum add-on is 10% of that day's regular pay. Here is how common shift start times count:

Shift (9 hours incl. 1 hour meal break)Hours between 10 pm and 6 amHours outside it
6 pm to 3 am54
9 pm to 6 am81
10 pm to 7 am81
2 am to 11 am45

The hours in the table include the meal break. Night differential is paid on hours of work, so if your unpaid break falls inside the window, take one hour off that count. The law sets 10% as the floor. An employer can pay more, but only trust a higher rate when the post or contract states it. In our sample, 9 of 50 posts (18%) listed night differential as a benefit.

Do call center agents get 13th month pay?

Yes. Every rank-and-file employee in the private sector gets 13th month pay, paid no later than December 24. Memorandum Order No. 28 (1986) changed Presidential Decree No. 851 so that employers must "pay all their rank-and-file employees a 13th month pay not later than December 24 of every year" (MO 28).

The amount is one twelfth (1/12) of the basic salary you earned in the calendar year, per the rules that implement PD 851. Those rules leave out allowances and monetary benefits that are not part of your basic salary. That is why the basic pay in your offer matters. Only 3 of the 50 posts we read (6%) named 13th month pay, because it is required by law and most employers do not bother listing it.

How is overtime paid in a call center?

Work past 8 hours in a day earns at least 25% on top of your regular hourly wage. Article 87 of the Labor Code requires "an additional compensation equivalent to his regular wage plus at least twenty-five percent (25%) thereof." Work past 8 hours on a holiday or rest day earns at least 30% on top of the rate for the first 8 hours of that day.

Ask the recruiter how overtime is approved on the account before you count on it as part of your pay.

What comes off a call center salary before you get paid?

Four things come off your gross pay: SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG contributions, and withholding tax. Your employer deducts your share of the three contributions and pays its own share on top. The rates change by year and by salary bracket, so check the current tables on the SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG websites against your payslip.

Income tax can be zero on a starting salary. Under the TRAIN law (RA 10963), the schedule from January 1, 2023 taxes yearly taxable income "Not over ₱250,000" at 0%. ₱250,000 a year works out to ₱20,833 a month. So if your taxable pay is ₱20,000 a month, that is ₱240,000 a year, and your income tax is zero.

Your 13th month pay and other benefits are also tax-free up to a combined ₱90,000 a year under the same law. Ask HR which parts of your package count as taxable pay, because that decides whether you cross the ₱250,000 line.

Why there is no take-home example here

A take-home figure needs this year's SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG rates, and we could not read all three from the agencies' own tables on 25 September 2026. Your first payslip shows the exact split.

Do voice, blended and work-from-home jobs pay differently?

Not in the posts we read. The median posted range was ₱20,000 to ₱25,000 for voice posts (21 with pay) and the same for blended voice and chat posts (8 with pay). Posts that say onsite (13 with pay) also came out at ₱20,000 to ₱25,000.

Only 3 posts with pay were fully work from home and 3 were hybrid, too few to compare. No post in the 50 was purely chat or email, so we cannot say whether non-voice chat and email jobs pay less. For how remote agent jobs are set up, see the guide to call center work from home.

Which call center accounts pay more?

Our sample is too small to rank accounts by pay. Healthcare was the only account type with at least 5 posts that stated a salary: 6 posts, median range ₱20,000 to ₱24,775. That is in line with the 36 posts overall.

Accounts differ more in what they ask for than in what they pay. The guide to retail, healthcare and financial BPO accounts compares the work and the screening, and the list of BPO companies in the Philippines shows who is hiring.

How does call center pay compare with the minimum wage?

The posts we read pay above the Metro Manila minimum wage. From 26 September 2026, the daily minimum for non-agriculture workers in Metro Manila is ₱755, under Wage Order No. NCR-28 (NWPC). The Philippine News Agency reports it raises the rate from ₱695 and takes effect on September 26.

To compare with a monthly offer, multiply ₱755 by the paid days in your contract. For example, 22 paid days at ₱755 is ₱16,610. The median posted minimum in our sample, ₱20,000, is above that. Other regions have their own wage orders, so check your region on the NWPC site.

How do you get a higher starting offer?

The pay in a post is mostly fixed, so your best move is choosing between offers. Compare basic pay first. Ask how night differential, incentives and overtime are paid on the account. Look at sign-on bonuses as a one-time extra: 5 of our 50 posts (10%) offered one.
